Book Meghan for your next event
Meghan Kennedy has been educating, speaking, and sharing stories about life with epilepsy since her college years. Before starting Epilepsy Education Everywhere, she volunteered with various epilepsy nonprofits including speaking as a H.O.P.E. mentor with the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego. In 2015, she was a finalist for the Community Bridge Builder Award for the National Association of Women Business Owners—Inland Empire’s Amazing Women Event.
Speaking topics include:
Taking the Leap—Leaving a Career for Your True Passion
In 2013, Meghan did what most people wouldn’t even dream of—she left her career as a Librarian to follow her passion as an epilepsy advocate. And, being single, she didn’t have anyone else’s income to support her. Some people thought she was crazy, but many found this to be very courageous and encouraging.
Seize the Day! Don’t Let Epilepsy Seize You
Since being diagnosed with epilepsy in 1986, Meghan has been on a journey of ups and downs including losing her driver’s license and even being on a plane and waking up in an emergency room. Learn how she has handled the struggles of life with epilepsy and turned it into a positive adventure for herself and others.
